Private Dining at the Top Restaurants

Dear Friends
Often in my blog, I write about hosting your own social events like having dinner parties at home, but sometimes you deserve a night off. So, imagine this: friends all around you, eating fabulous food and you’re drinking your favourite wine. The service is impeccable and the ambience just right. No, you’re not dreaming…
All of this is possible when you eat out at London’s top restaurants. These days, many of them have a private room where you and your guests can dine in peace. So, pick a restaurant, book well in advance, pick a menu and start inviting your friends. Here’s a small selection of London’s top restaurants that offer private dining.
Gordon Ramsay at Claridges has THREE private rooms that seat 10, 12 or 30 guests. Hiring the room costs £475 at lunch or £575 for dinner. It’s perfect for an anniversary party for more mature diners.
Luciano is the restaurant of Ramsay’s old sparring partner Marco Pierre White. It’s a strictly adult affair and the private room seat 10 guests around one table. There’s no charge for the room hire and the food is simply divine. It’s great for an intimate party with your closest friends.
Zuma is a tranquil space in the heart of lively Knightsbridge. It’s a traditional Japanese restaurant with two private dining rooms, one for 12 guests and the other for 14. There’s no hire charge for the rooms, but there is a minimum spend of £700.
Tom’s Kitchen is simply the place to go to blow your bonus. It’s a fashionable place with a private dining room that seats 22 guests. There’s no room hire charge, but a minimum spend is £1000 for lunch and £2000 for dinner. So, if you’re feeling flush and like to dress to impress, Tom’s is the place to go.
The Balcony, Galvin at Windows – the panoramic view of London from the 28th floor of the Hilton Park Lane is simply staggering and chef Andre Garret’s modern French food is just as arresting. The private dining area seats up to 18 people and costs a trifle at £1500. This is quite literally one of the top restaurants in London.
These are just FIVE suggestions from the huge range of the finest restaurants that London has to offer. So, no matter the occasion, whether you’re celebrating or simply desire to eat out in fine company, private dining is the way to go!
Kind Regards
Kim Rix
