It’s that time of year again when all of our social events move indoors! I really can’t believe how quickly the year is passing. This leaves me with a thought – to make the most of Autumn 2009 before the busy winter season is upon us.
Below, I’ve included a couple of wonderful social events to add to your calendar to give you an idea of what’s out there in our great city, just waiting to be explored!
The London Wine Show
Located in The Business Design Centre, Islington – The London Wine Show features some of the world’s finest wines along with some familiar faces. You can book an hour with Oz Clarke, renowned wine taster extraordinaire; Oz will give you tips on tasting and introduce a spread of his own favourite wines for your consideration! After you’ve finished with Oz – you can visit the tasting theatre, where the evening consists of you tasting some excellent wines! Educate your pallet and have a tipple or two whilst at the London Wine Show! From October 22nd – October 25th 2009!
The BBC’s Good Food Show
Held at the Olympia, The BBC’s Good Food Show offers you the opportunity to taste some amazing new foods, and some excellent tips and ideas for your Christmas essentials! With over 250 exhibitors showcasing their products with lots of special offers and tastings – you can’t help but want to put an extra notch in your belt, just in case!
With live demonstrations from some of the most renowned chefs from the UK and beyond – this will make for a great weekend of culinary culture! With a special Christmas kitchen and a tasting theatre, hand in hand – you can’t afford to miss this one! Taking place from November 13th – November 15th 2009.
