Corporate Christmas Parties
Oct 27th, 2009 by savvyclub
Dear Friends,
Many businesses turn over big profits during the Christmas season, but this year has been particularly tough on lots of organisations. A tradition in many companies is the Christmas bonus; an excellent way to keep your staff happy, enabling them to feel rewarded and their efforts acknowledged.
However, bonuses have recently become a sketchy area and a gift voucher is a little impersonal; don’t you think? At SaVVy, we believe that a little effort can go a long way to rewarding your employee’s hard work. It’s a way to say thank you, for all of their hard work over the year, especially during tough economic times.
Taking inspiration from the numerous continental markets which appear during the festive season; why not organise a Corporate Christmas reception. Entertain your colleagues and employees with crepes, hot chocolate, continental beers and mulled wine! An outdoor event could really stir up that sense of Christmas spirit. Get your woolly clothes on; hats, scarves, gloves and ear muffs, thrown together with some traditional music and an outdoor fire can create an inspiring atmosphere whereupon you can really communicate just how grateful and appreciative you are of your team’s work over the year.
Another idea would be to hold a Corporate Festive Dinner somewhere special in town, perhaps followed by a champagne reception and a dinner dance. You can rest assured that if you make the effort to entertain your employees for this one occasion – that they’ll remain focused, dedicated and willing to keep up the hard work.
It’s also perfectly possible for you to offer your employees corporate membership of a social events club or organisation, providing them with an enhanced work-life balance as you give them the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of monthly events, all arranged and organised by someone else!
Kind Regards
