Places to spend Halloween in London
Feb 7th, 2012 by savvyclub
Dear Friends,
Alright, I know, we’re still in August and yesterday was a sizzler in London, but before you know it, Autumn will be here, and so will October. Halloween is only ten weeks away, so I’ve been thinking…
Do you run from the ghastly ghouls of All Hallows Eve or do you embrace them? Most people celebrate this former Pagan festival as a chance to dress up and let their hair down. Avoid the Trick or Treaters by take a trip into London this year. You’ll find many different ways to enjoy your Halloween, but here are just a few:
Witchery at ‘Wicked’
If you’re feeling a little ‘Wicked’, book tickets for this smash-shit show at Apollo Victoria Theatre on Halloween. The evening performance of Stephen Schwartz’s ‘Wicked’, a back-story to the Wizard of Oz, is a fantastic way to get into the Halloween ‘spirit’. Don’t worry though – it’s not as scary as you’d think. Still – an excellent way to spend Halloween. (Find out more http://www.wickedthemusical.co.uk)
The Walking Dead
Why not spend your Halloween learning about Haunted London on one of the City’s chilling Ghost Walks and Walking Tours. Wander amidst the ruins of ancient Roman London, around the site of William Wallace’s execution and amongst the gruesome hunting grounds of the famous London bodysnatchers.
These tours are available all throughout the year, but many companies organise a special Halloween tour on the 31st October, but be sure to book early so you don’t miss out! (Available from http://www.london-ghost-tour.com)
The Dungeon
Of course, if you haven’t been to the London Dungeon, then a petrifying visit to the Dungeon on Halloween is the best time to scare yourself silly. Learn about the terrifying methods of torture used in Medieval London. Discover the truth behind the Victorian Serial Killer known as Jack the Ripper. Get Lost in a terrifying hall of mirrors based on All Hallows Church in London. Enjoy the grim history of London at the London Dungeon on the scariest night of the year! Why not spend this year’s Halloween in great company with us at one of our spine-tingling Halloween social events.

I cant believe you forgot The London Bridge Experience and Tombs.
I recently went to The London Bridge Experience and Tombs halloween special Phobophobia which was excellent fun. Certainly the best thing I’ve ever been to in the whole of London.
The staff told me that they’ve got an extra scary show for the halloween weekend. which we will certainly be going along to.
Hope you all have a great halloween
